Separated from each other during a damp and foggy Bigfoot hunt, Sir Dino and Patton Oswalt remove a hidden pornography stash hidden in the crawlspace of their basement, and Dave Attell is on the run from the ghost of John Lennon.
After getting lost in a dense fog while hunting for Bigfoot, Sir Dino McRex, the time traveling dinosaur, and Patton Oswalt, the famous human comedian, find themselves in a dimly lit basement that looks like it hasn’t seen the light of day since the Jurassic period. Sir Dino is struggling to reach for the insulation hanging from the ceiling, which looks like it’s been through a time warp.
A flashlight in hand, Patton is making jokes about how the insulation looks like the curtains from a haunted frat house. He says, “At least we had windows and furniture at Alpha Theta. Sometimes, that is. This is exactly why you shouldn’t mix tequila and interior decorating!”
Moving further into the space, Sir Dino’s tail accidentally knocks some debris on the floor. They both notice something hidden in the corner. It’s a stash of old pornography magazines, probably from the 80s. The dinosaur, bewildered at the site of the vintage smut, exclaims, “By the Triceratops’ horns! What ancient human relics have we unearthed?”
Patton, trying to contain his laughter, says, “Dino, my scaly friend, we’ve hit the mother lode of human history! This is like finding the Dead Sea Scrolls of adult entertainment!”
They both decide to remove the stash from the crawlspace, but suddenly, out of the darkness, comedian Dave Attell bursts into the scene in a frenzy. His eyes are wide, and he’s panting heavily. “Guys, you won’t believe this! The ghost of John Lennon is back there, and he’s humming the theme song from ‘The Golden Girls’!” he exclaims.
Sir Dino, being from the prehistoric era, has no idea what ‘The Golden Girls’ is, but Patton is both amused and terrified. They can faintly hear the humming growing louder.
Dave, in his panic, drops more pornography magazines. He looks at Dino and Patton and says, “Don’t judge me! I was trying to find a safe place for my precious collection!”
The trio decides they need to band together to face the humming ghost of John Lennon. Sir Dino with his mighty roar, Patton with his sarcastic wit and Dave with his stash of magazines as a shield, bravely move towards the humming.
As they approach, the ghost of John Lennon appears – a translucent figure with a friendly face, humming cheerfully. Patton can’t help but laugh, and even Sir Dino finds it amusing.
The musical specter, still humming, points towards an old, dusty piano in the corner of the basement, and upon closer inspection , they notice that the dilapidated keyboard is filled with tissues and baby oil. Dave exclaims, “It’s like this place was made for hiding my stash!”
Benefiting from his vast historical wisdom, Sir Dino surmises that maybe the ghost used to hide his own guilty pleasures there back in the day. The ghost gives a knowing nod and a wink.
Patton, seizing the moment, sits at the piano and starts playing the theme song from ‘The Golden Girls’ while the ghost of John Lennon hums along. Dave, relieved, starts placing his magazines inside the out-of-tune instrument. They all share a moment of camaraderie, as Sir Dino realizes that even though times change, some human habits remain the same.
The ghost of John Lennon gives them a cheerful wave As they leave, and they promise to keep his secret hiding place safe. The basement becomes a sort of shrine, where once a year, they gather to pay homage to the humming ghost and share stories and laughter.
And so, in an adventure that has become a legendary tale passed down through the ages, a time traveling dinosaur, two comedians and a humming ghost formed an unlikely bond over a hidden stash of pornography in a dusty old basement.
