Dino McRex and Patton Oswalt receive a special present from their friend, Miriam, and Sarah Silverman surprises them with magical gifts and treats.
In a quaint room adorned with relics from epochs long past, Sir Dino McRex, the gallant time-traveling dinosaur, is engaged in a spirited conversation with his comrade, the witty and whimsical Patton Oswalt Sir Dino, his scales shimmering and his tail swishing, is regaling Patton with stories of his adventures through the Mesozoic era.
Suddenly, there is a gentle knock at the door. The duo, intrigued, make their way to the entrance. The door creaks open, and they are greeted by the delightful visage of their neighbor, Miriam, who is known throughout the land for her warm and endearing aura. She excitedly skips through the doorway and presents them with a mysterious cardboard box that seems to pulsate with magic.
The air is thick with anticipation as Sir Dino, with his mighty claws, and Patton, with his heart racing, open the box. Lo and behold! Nestled inside are two of the most adorable creatures they have ever laid eyes upon. The first, a regal Chihuahua named Tilly, has fur as smooth as the finest silk and eyes as round as the full moon. Her collar, adorned with a tag, sparkles as if containing the stars themselves. Beside her, a black terrier named Trouble, ready for adventure, is peeking over the edge of the box with a mischievous glint in her eye.
As they marvel at these magical creatures, another knock echoes through the room. This time, it is the vivacious Sarah Silverman at the door. Her eyes widen with joy as she spots Tilly and Trouble. She exclaims, “I heard through the enchanted grapevine that two very special pups have arrived!”
Sarah, always prepared for a magical encounter, presents a bag of sparkling dog treats that float in the air and a set of enchanted bells that chime with the sweetest melodies.
Sir Dino wags his mighty tail, humorously mirroring the vigorous twitching of the puppy tails, and helps attach the enchanted bells to Tilly and Trouble’s collars. Patton and Sarah take turns giving the tasty dog treats to the happy puppies, who perform little leaps and twirls in the air as they catch them. The room fills with the sound of the bells, and it feels as if the very fabric of time is dancing to their tune.
While they delight in the exuberant dog games, there is yet another knock at the door. This time, it is a raccoon wearing a suit and glasses, holding a clipboard. He introduces himself as Mr. Whiskers, the Code Enforcement Officer. “I’ve received complaints about unauthorized cuteness in this neighborhood,” Mr. Whiskers says in a stern voice, his nose twitching with disapproval.
Before anyone can respond, Tilly and Trouble spring into action. The enchanted bells on their collars chime louder, and the room fills with a golden light. The two dogs, floating from the magic treats, circle around Mr. Whiskers, and the previously serious raccoon begins to smile. His stern demeanor changes, and he starts to dance along with Tilly and Trouble. However, as he dances, his pessimism can’t keep up with the joy, and it takes the form of a dark cloud which is then chased out of the house by Tilly and Trouble.
The room erupts into applause as Mr. Whiskers, now free of his pessimism, thanks everyone and promises to be more understanding in the future. Tilly and Trouble, now wearing their enchanted bells, playfully continue to chase each other around the room, and the group makes a pact to reunite for adventures that will span the ages.
They bid each other farewell for now, with the promise of the incredible journeys that lay ahead. The room, once filled with the sounds of the enchanted bells and laughter, settles into a contented silence, holding the secrets of the adventures to come.
